About

Hello, I’m Daniel, a sociologist and data analyst! 🙋

I have a big interest in society and social processes as well as statistics. I melted these topics into my current role as a Data Analyst at Revolut, the world’s first global bank.

Previously, I have worked at Springer Nature, one of the biggest publishing houses worldwide and at one of the largest retailers, Lidl. Here, I have implemented data driven solutions in different countries and cultivated a proven track record in strategic product management.

I love coding. Not only in Python, but also in R, which is why this blog is done in code and hosted on Quarto within my R-Studio IDE. 💻
Outside of my daily business, I’m always looking for new, innovative projects that have a potential impact in society. As a lifelong learner with more than 40 MOOCs (open online courses) completed, I’m always on the look for new horizons! 🚀

Don’t expect me to be a frequent traveller (as everybody else today 😉), I like to stay long term in places to patiently get to know the culture and the people. One day, the fox from The Little Prince taught me this most valuable lesson: to establish ties, creating relationships based on trust, care and understanding. And that’s how I have moved around in the world: from Germany to Spain to France, even a few months in South America. Luckily, you can now talk to me in German, Spanish, French or English. So please get in touch if any of the before mentioned inspires an idea or piques your curiosity! ✉️
